M.A.C haul!!!

Ooohhh yeaaahhh;) Bought a whole makeup set tonight and costs a bomb and it is the bomb.
Told the sales lady that i was clueless with M.A.C products and makeup.
& she helped me out; from the primer to the setting spray. lovely.

Ive done months of readings and youtubings as well..
Like how one should stick to either oil based for all products or water based for all products; same goes for the silicon based. There should not be a mixture. This is to allow the makeup to blend and to set in.

And i also opted for mineralize ones so as to be less prone to acnes and breakouts.

Face Protect Protection Visage SPF 50.
Select Moisturecover in NW 25.
Skin Refresher/ Finishing Mist.
Mineralize Satinfinish SPF 15.

Im pretty sure theres a lot of us girls who got mixed up with the makeup steps.
And at times youtube confuses you with too many girls with too many ways, with too many products.
I have to admit i ran away from sales ladies when they started following me around or when they offer help. Maybe because i didnt trust them with their skills or i wasnt planning to buy the items yet.

But that day i was ready to listen and to trust and to splurge. I asked the lady to pick out everything i need  and confessed to her i don't know how to apply them.

Steps to a flawless dewy finish, according to the M.A.C lady,

1) start with a clean face & moisturize

2) apply the primer (Face Protect Protection Visage SPF 50)
let it primer sets in for 2-3mins.

3) apply the liquid foundation ( Mineralize Satinfinish SPF 15)

4) apply liquid concealer on areas (Select Moisturecover in NW 25)

5) apply the pressed powder (Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light Plus)

6) spray face to set makeup (Skin Refresher/ Finishing Mist)

my colleague and i were discussing about the makeup application earlier today and the issue was whether to go for  ' foundation then concealer' or 'concealer then foundation'. I did some readings.. & this was what i found..

• Which should go on first, concealer or foundation? Kevyn Aucoin believes in foundation first, concealer second. If you do it the other way round, you’ll rub off the concealer when you put on your foundation. After applying concealer, he sets it by pressing firmly with a lightly dusted powder puff, ‘which works powder into concealer, concealer into base, and base into skin.’
